The first episode of new ITV television series What Would Be Your Miracle? told a heartwarming story of a young boy with Cerebral palsy taking his first steps following a complicated operation.
The new series, which explores how modern medicine can change lives, started on Wednesday with presenter Emma Willis visiting Aberdare, South Wales, to meet ten-year-old Cerebral palsy sufferer Garin Morgan and his family.
The show followed Garin, whose lifetime dream is to play football, in his journey to learn how to walk following complex spinal surgery.
The story culminated in a touching scene in which Garin took his first steps after the operation.
The series will continue later this week, with each episode following two individual cases of children and adults conquering illnesses and disabilities through modern medicine.
Garin’s story is a testament to the power of pioneering surgery in tackling life-limiting disabilities.
